Last month, we had the opportunity to spend three exciting days in our favorite city—Chicago. The main purpose of our trip was to attend a conference where we could check out all of the hottest new promotional products. Having attended this conference previously, we knew we were in for a good time!. But as the saying goes, “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy,” so we made sure to mix in some fun and sightseeing too! Thanks, Jack. Whoever you are.

Conference Kickoff & Big City Vibes

Our first day in Chicago was all about diving back into the conference we’ve come to love. The energy was electric, with booths showcasing the latest and greatest promotional products. From eco-friendly gadgets to custom-branded apparel, the creativity on display was incredible. We took our time exploring each booth, gathering ideas and inspiration for our own projects – and yours!. The innovation in the promotional products industry is truly amazing, and we’re excited to bring some of these new ideas to life.

After a day full of dutiful research, we decided to ‘unwind’ with a stroll around the city. Chicago’s skyline is always breathtaking, and we couldn’t resist stopping by Millennium Park to see the iconic “Bean” for probably the 10th time. The reflection of the city in this giant, shiny sculpture was a perfect snapshot of our first day and never disappoints.

Highlights & Sweet Delights

Day two was even more exciting. We discovered a range of unique products that sparked fresh ideas for upcoming campaigns. From tech gadgets to custom-branded merchandise, the options were endless, and we left feeling inspired…and tired!

But the day wasn’t all work—we also made time for a little adventure. After the conference, we headed to the Museum of Ice Cream, and it was like stepping into a candy-colored fever-dream. Each room was more whimsical than the last, with interactive exhibits that were as delicious as they were fun. We indulged in ice cream treats, slid down giant slides, and took a few laps in the sprinkle pool. It was the perfect way to round out the day.

Wrapping Up & Looking Ahead

On our final day in Chicago, we made the most of our time by exploring the last few booths at the conference. The networking opportunities were fantastic, and we left with a ton of new vendor contacts and ideas. Before heading to the airport, we squeezed in a bit more sightseeing. A quick visit to Navy Pier gave us stunning views of Lake Michigan and a last taste of Chicago’s vibrant atmosphere.

Final Thoughts

We came back inspired by the innovative promotional products we discovered and refreshed from the fun experiences we had along the way. Whether it’s exploring the latest trends in our industry or just enjoying a sprinkle-filled day at the Museum of Ice Cream, this trip reminded us why Chicago remains our favorite city. Until next time, Chicago—you never disappoint!
